2014 Christmas Devotional

Christmas in the mission field is a time for worship and celebration. It's a time of heightened awareness of those around us celebrating diversity and difference. As a mission, once a year at Christmas, we're blessed to participate together in a devotional and share an incredible holiday meal.  Our hearts were full today with love for the Savior, love for the Work of Salvation and especially love for each other. The devotional program and music were exceptional! Our Christmas dinner was delicious! The church and cultural hall looked festive and we were excited to be together as an entire mission.

Thank you Sister Mari Toronto for preparing such an amazing program!!

Our hearts are overflowing with love and thanks to our amazing Fisher Family for their stocking gifts each year. For the past 3 years they have made, filled and delivered over 700 stockings to our missionaries. We are blessed beyond measure to have such a supportive family!!!

As the Grinch would say, "Then the Whos, young and old, (the NYNYN) would sit down to a feast. And they'd feast and they'd feast and they'd feast, feast, feast, feast. They'd feast on Who-pudding (stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy) and rare Who-roast beast (turkey and ham)." The Senior Missionaries were wonderful to help serve a Christmas feast to everyone!

Thank you Sister Toronto and Sister Palmer for all your hard work on the program!

We couldn't do this alone, we had so many wonderful people help make today special!
