Mission President's Seminar

We've LOVED to participating in our North America North East Area, Mission President's Seminars. We've been so blessed over the last 3 years to attend 6 of these retreats. We went to Washington DC this month and had such a great experience. Meeting with other mission presidents and their wives is uplifting! Being taught by General Authorities and their wives is a blessing. We love driving to the conferences and seeing the beautiful country we live in along the way. This year we stopped at Gettysburg and spent the afternoon driving around those sacred grounds. We were filled with a feeling of reverence for the many lives that were lost there in a 3 day battle, in the Civil War!

We are so grateful for the men and women of our mission class. They will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Serving a mission at the same time as our dear friends, the Richards, has blessed our lives every day!!
After our meetings were over we took a few hours and visited Arlington National Cemetery. We marveled at the acres and acres of fallen soldiers. We witnessed the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and felt a great respect for the freedoms of this country. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness rang true this weekend.
