November has proven to be one of the busiest months we have had so far! It seems like every day we have been working from dawn to dusk! Leadership council, new missionary training, Stake conferences, Youth Conference at West Point, 2 new couples arrived, temple day with the returning missionaries, transfers, online proselyting, and new i-pads for each missionary have filled our days! The fall has continued to be amazing here!
A Beautiful Fall Day in the City
We were excited to welcome 2 new couples to our mission. The Drapers and the Powells will be a great addition!
We have so much to be thankful for this month. Our office elders are amazing. Elder Lee and Elder Jensen keep all the mail delivered, they help move apartments, they do whatever is asked of them and we are so blessed. Each elder that has worked in the office has been wonderful!
We love calling new trainers who will become answered prayers for 17 new missionaries!
Lucky new missionaries who get these loving trainers.
One of our zones in the mission had been given a great idea by their ward mission leader to do a chalk art mural in downtown New York City about the Plan of Salvation. It was a HUGE success. The missionaries loved drawing and talking about our Father in Heaven's plan of happiness to everyone that would listen!
A wonderful member in Manhattan filmed the event and posted it on You Tube. We LOVE the video and are so grateful for all the people who participated to make this happen!
Transfers came again this month! We are so thankful to have 17 new missionaries here with us!
Our mission has been approved to be an online proselyting mission. Our missionaries will be able to teach the gospel through facebook and skype. The Hastening of the work has begun in the NYNYN mission!
And you get an iPad, and you get an iPad, and you get an iPad!
Online proselyting. READY! SET!
GO!!
These 6 wonderful young men returned home to their families. They have been a great blessing to us!
Elder Portillo, Elder Wilsher, Elder Montierth, Elder Malm, Elder Conner, and Elder Scott
They aren't too sad to be leaving! Great things ahead for each one of them!
These pictures will show just how hard our missionaries work. You'd think there isn't one shoe store in New York! We have lots of shoe stores here and lots of hard working missionaries!
